Reflecting on Brown Trout
ALPENA, Mich. — The Brown Trout Festival drew to a close last night.
This year’s festival was as much about getting together again as it was going out to fish. The pandemic limited Brown rout festivities in 2020, so this year was a return to form. Families and friends gathered all week to have a great time and enjoy each others’ company.
One woman told WBKB she was happy to see the festival bounce back.
Another draw for this year’s festival was the food, particularly the onion–loaded Tony Burger.
The Exchange Club of Alpena got to serve this traditional sandwich once again.
Club president Ray Reynolds the crowds of hungry people surprised him.
