A picture perfect Monday was felt throughout the Sunrise Side as high pressure makes its way through the Midwest. Tonight, expect clear skies with lows closer to your February average high around 30°. Southwesterly winds will allow temperatures on Tuesday to make a run towards record territory as highs top in the mid 50s.
Clouds roll in Tuesday night bringing in only a chance of an overnight rain showers as temperatures will stay above freezing. Wednesday and Thursday will consist of increased cloudiness as the Sunrise Side sits in a buffer of two systems. The 2nd system has a better opportunity to bring a mix Thursday night as temperatures descend below freezing. Overall accumulations from both clippers will stay relatively low as dry air will win out this week. The weekend is shaping up to be great with plentiful sunshine and temperatures slightly above average.
