ALPENA, Mich. — District Health Department No. 4 has more walk-in vaccination clinics and rapid COVID-19 testing available to residents.

Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine is available to all DHD4 residents 18 and older at the Alpena Mall on Thursday, April 15 from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and at the Case Township Community Center in Millersburg on Friday, April 16 at the same time.

Vaccines are first come first served while supplies last. There are 450 available vaccines in Alpena and 300 in Millersburg.

On Monday, April 19, 100 Pfizer vaccines are available by walk-in at the Alpena Community College Gymnasium. There are limited spots for community members at this clinic.

Rapid testing for COVID-19 is available in Northeast Michigan in the near future, as well.

Rapid tests are available at the Hillman Community Center on Friday, April 16 from 12 to 6 p.m. There will also be tests on Saturday in Alpena County at the Fairgrounds Merchants building from 12 to 6 p.m. as well. Tests are available at Medilodge of Rogers City on Monday, April 19 and at the Cheboygan Fairgrounds on Tuesday, April 20 during the same time frame.
