“Pumpkins in the Park” wraps up in Oscoda

OSCODA, Mich.– Blue Ribbon Events wrapped up their final event in Northeast Michigan for the year.

Sunday was the final day of “Pumpkins in the Park,” a crafts show and community get–together in Oscoda. The event kicked off yesterday morning, and included a pumpkin carving contest, chili cook–off, and even a costumed pet parade.

Vendors from across Michigan, and even from other states, turned up to sell their wares.

This was the last show Blue Ribbon Events will host in Northeast Michigan this year.

C.E.O. Danielle Lynch said she’s glad Oscoda residents were able to use her event to see each other.

“So I feel it’s great to see people back out supporting not only the local artists, but that they’re actually coming out and meeting and greeting and seeing their friends from town for the first time in a while. That’s what makes me smile.”

“Pumpkins in the Park” is currently set to return next year during the second weekend in October.
