Possible COVID-19 case at Pied Piper

ALPENA, Mich.— Pied Piper is the latest area school to announce a student or staff member has a probable case of COVID-19. The Alpena Montmorency Alcona Educational Service District was notified of the case Monday.

The school and District Health Department No.4 is still tracking the case and no evidence of anyone coming in close contact with the individual was discovered. The district is awaiting test results and no quarantine order was established.

Maintenance staff will continue cleaning measures during the school day and after hours. Pied Piper will remain open until further notice.
