Harrisville — A plane carrying a family of four collided with the tree line on Saturday afternoon at the Harrisville Airport.
Alcona County Sheriff’s Deputies, the Harrisville Fire Department, and Alcona County EMS responded to the crash on the south end of the airfield. The cause of the crash was due to the plane’s failure to get up to speed and take off. All four family members were treated for minor injuries on the scene.
