Pets of the week: 8-11-2020

ALPENA, Mich.– Meet Phebe! She’s a two–year–old mix who’s still got some growing to do. She was brought in as a stray not long ago, and gets skittish around men. Otherwise, she’s a cheerful girl. She loves running around and cuddling with people she trusts.

Next, meet whopper. Whopper is about three–and–a–half years old and is recovering from surgery. His tail was beyond repair when he was brought in, so the vets at the Humane Society decided to amputate it. He’s adapting quite well to his new balance, and though he’s still a bit shy, he’s fond of being petted by people he likes.

Finally, take a look at Pumpkin. She’s gotten slightly bigger since we saw her two weeks ago. She’s somehow gotten more energetic, too; she darts around like nobody’s business and is very fond of grabbing onto toys. Pumpkin is looking for a high–energy buddy who can keep up with her.
