ALPENA, Mich. — Today’s pets of the week are Kennedy, Shea, Erin, and Riley.
Our first pet today is Kennedy. She’s a recent mother weaning off her kids, and she just arrived this past weekend. Kennedy’s a vocal young lady who’s shy and still getting used to the humane society, but she’s friendly and affectionate once she gets to know you.
Her kids, meanwhile, seem to have taken to the shelter like a duck to water.
Up first, we have Shea: the one in the pink collar. This little lady’s a jumper who plays with anything she can find. She also has a habit of spooking herself. Seeing how she meows for cuddles and skritches, she’s probably the Kennedy sister who’s most comfortable with people.
Next up, we have Erin. She’s the one wearing the yellow collar and mellow attitude. She thinks she’s above her sisters’ mischief, but she never misses an opportunity to pounce on them.
Finally, meet Riley, the one in the orange collar. This curious and playful little lady likes to run. And run and run and run. I think she’s the runt of the litter, but she doesn’t let that stop her.
