Pets of the week: 2-9-21

ALPENA, Mich.– Today’s pets of the week are Beckham, Joop, Dior, and Escada.

Meet Beckham! He’s a black lab mix who’s under a year old. He came to the Humane Society Monday, so we don’t know much about his personality yet. What we can tell you is that he’s playful and loving, but not very bright. He loves fetch, but doesn’t always realize that you’ve thrown the ball.

Next, we have two sisters, Dior and Escada. These two are a closely bonded pair. If you separate them, they’ll meow until they’re reunited. They’re both incredibly shy and need a little more socialization, but they have potential to be a great pair of companions. Just make sure you bring them home together.

And finally, let’s meet Joop. Joop’s about five months old and she’s also rather shy. She’s a bit more sociable, but not by much. She’ll let you pet her, but she won’t go out seeking cuddles.
