ALPENA, Mich. — Today’s pets are Betty White, Hula, Gloworm, and Carebear.

Our first pet today is Hula. This year–old cat is on the shy side and prefers to avoid contact. However, she’s warm and affectionate with people she trusts. We recommend giving her patience, time, and maybe a few treats.

Next up is Betty White. This golden girl is a rescued stray and a massive cuddlebug. She’s friendly, curious, and a more than a little goofy, just like her namesake. If you bring her home, she’ll thank you for being a friend.

Finally, we have a pair of sisters, Gloworm and Carebear. These twins are nearly identical, but you can tell them apart by color and their nose stripes. Gloworm has a light–grey back while her sister’s is brown, and Carebear’s stripe is narrower and goes up the center of her nose.

Glo–worm is the friendlier member of this bonded pair. She’s receptive to petting and purrs like a smooth little motor.

Carebear tends to get spooked more easily and snuggles against her sister for safety.

Remember, these two are a bonded pair and should be adopted into the same home

You can learn more about adoption on the Huron Humane Society website.
