Oscoda- Comedians from all over North America will travel to Hilltop Bar and Grill for the inaugural Paul Bunyan Comedy Festival, kicking off April 5th through the 7th.
The event is the brain child of Comedian Brandon Young and Dan Bublitz, who recently moved back to Michigan. Young and long time friend Shannon Allison are working hard to put on this unique event for a great cause. The money from each ticket will directly impact the Alzheimer’s Association, an organization and disease that promoter and event coordinator Shannon Allison knows all to well. The goal is to raise between $10,000-$15,000. Comedians can still sign up to perform until February 1st. The lineup will be announced February 15th. Acts vary from children appropriate to raunchy adult humor. Young and his fellow Comedian Bublitz have worked on pulling of several comedy shows around the country including the Sioux Falls Sno Jam Comedy Fest and the San Diego Comedy Festival.
Folks can purchase tickets online at paulbunyancomedyfest.com. 25 all access passes are available for $25. GA tickets are $8. Hilltop Bar and Grill holds 100 people. For additional details and the February 15th Lineup Release: visit paulbunyancomedyfest.com.
