ALPENA, Mich.— Parents interested in learning more about online classes at Alpena Public Schools are invited to attend a virtual forum. APS is hosting the forum for parents with children already taking online courses.

Alpena High School Principal Thomas Berriman says, “Five hundred students within the district use the remote learning option.”

During the forum, school officials will discuss the progress of student education from fall semester and allow parents the opportunity to ask questions.

Berriman says, “He encourages parents to team up with the school district in providing the best education for their online student.”

School officials will also discuss plans for second semester. Parents will have the option to choose a different curriculum that helps their child during the school year.

The forum is Tuesday, November 10 starting at 7pm via zoom. To access the zoom link visit the Alpena Schools website or contact Thomas Berriman at 989–358–5200.
