Ossineke woman charged with assault with a dangerous weapon
OSSINEKE, Mich. — An Ossineke woman was arraigned in court this week for Assault with a Dangerous Weapon after trying to run her boyfriend over with her car.
Kristy Ann Clay, 20, of Ossineke was arrested on May 10 and charged with one count of Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, Malicious Destruction of Property, and Operating with No License.
On April 17, Michigan State Police responded to reports of a white Chevorlet Impala running into other vehicles in an apartment parking lot. Clay allegedly rammed into her boyfriend’s car after an argument earlier that day. While he was trying to stop her, she allegedly attempted to run him over.
Clay was arrested on May 10 and lodged in the Alpena County Jail. Her next scheduled court appearance is on May 24.
