Oscoda soars to a (9-0) record

OSCODA, MI — The Oscoda Owls entered Thursday nights matchup against the Alcona Tigers with a three-week break, so the Owls were a little rusty in the first quarter offensively. Oscoda led after one 7-4.
The blue and white’s defense did not disappoint. A couple steals in the second helped the Owls go up 26-14 at halftime. Leading the way offensively for the Owls was sophomore Owen Franklin with 20, junior Brayden Mallak with 12, Colin Lueck with 6, Gabe Kellstrom with 5, Chance Kruse with 4, Gavin Lueck with 4, Devin Thomas with 3, and Jacob Post with 2.
The Owls improve their overall record to (9-0) and (5-0) in the conference. Oscoda will travel to Hale for a non-conference game on Monday, July 14th.
