Oscoda on the hunt for revenge against Houghton Lake

OSCODA, Mich. — The Oscoda Owls are ready to take their home field against the Houghton Lake Bobcats, the only team the Owls lost to during the regular season of 2018. The Owls finished their season (8-1) and then lost in the first round of playoffs, while the Bobcats ended last year (2-7).

The blue and white bring back senior linemen Adam Hein and Christian Ward as well as all-state senior quarterback Brayden Mallak and all-state wide receiver Owen Franklin. The Owls have speed, but will their lack of size be enough. After watching their fourth annual Blue and White Scrimmage, Head Coach Mark Whitley knows the boys just need to make sure they work on blocking and correcting missed assignments.

Oscoda will get their revenge game Thursday, August 29 at 7 p.m.
