OSCODA, Mich.— Local schools here in Northeast Michigan are making sure seniors are honored for their hard work despite the state closure of classrooms. Oscoda High School wanted to recognize students by placing signs and hanging banners throughout downtown Oscoda.
Each sign displays a picture of the graduating senior along with their name. Sixty-two students will graduate this year and the official end of school is June 15th.
Allison says, “Prom , all senior trips and the annual all night party were cancelled this year due to COVID–19.” The decision to have commencement and senior awards night has not yet been determined.
