OSCODA, Mich.— The general election is coming up next month and Oscoda Area Schools are up for a sinking fund millage renewal. The school district is seeking over $1.2 million dollars for all schools.
The funds will go toward technology needs, building security and facility improvements. Oscoda High School needs to replace the current heating installations to energy efficient systems. The high school is also needing new flooring and ceiling units in the hallways and in classrooms.
The general election is November 5th at the Polling Location Ausable Township Hall.
