O’Neill and Jets Kickoff Training Camp
ALPENA, Mich. — The Alpena Jets are a few weeks away from football season. They are putting on the cleats and are back on the field. The Jets have reported to camp for grades 5th through 8th. They were able to get some summer reps in before the fall season goes into swing.
Wednesdays Practice was focused on fundamentals of route running and knowing what to do off the snap. All of the players were very excited to get the season underway. Some of the players told us why they like the game of football so much.
“Being a running back, I really like being able to truck people and get to the touchdown,” said William O’Neill.
Not only were the Jets excited to play football, but this team really likes to win.
“Our group for the past three years, hasn’t a lost a game,” said John Kurowski. “I’m looking forward to continuing that streak.”
The Jets will kickoff their regular season in late August.
