Nominations open for Citizen of the Year
ALPENA, Mich. — It’s time to think about the people we know and the great things they do.
The Alpena Chamber of Commerce has opened nominations for their Citizen of the Year award.
Chamber President Adam Poll said the award recognizes the accomplishments, service, and character of area residents.
Anyone can download and fill out the nomination form from the chamber website.
Poll said a wide range of people have received the award over the years.
Applications are due by post or E–Mail on January 7. The chamber will announce their pick during their annual banquet in February
