No one wins, no one loses

ALPENA, Mich. — The Alpena Wildcats ice hockey team played their home opener on Friday as they battled Traverse City West at Northern Lights Arena. It’s safe to say that both teams had multiple chances to win the game. Shots were hitting the pipes, and goalies were making key saves to keep their team in the game. However, no one had the edge as both the Titans and Wildcats finish with a 3-3 tie.

Alpena (0-1-1) returns to Northern Lights Arena Saturday afternoon to battle Midland. Puck drop is set for 2 p.m.
