Missing Atlanta boy has been found deceased
ALPENA, Mich — 15-year old Charles Cordes who suffered from Downs’ Syndrome was found deceased earlier today in a pond near his home.
He was last seen riding his bike in a hay field on M-33 southeast of Atlanta where his bike, belt, glasses and other items were found.
According to the Montmorency County Sheriff’s Facebook page, the community banned together to show support in hopes of Cordes’ safe return.
The cause of death is still unknown and according to a press release from the Montmorency Sheriff’s Office,
an investigation of death will continue.
