Michigan Works helps reform careers

ALPENA, Mich. — If COVID–19 is the reason why you were laid off, you may be in luck as Michigan Works of Northeast Michigan is stepping in to help reform careers.

Michigan Works offers free training for a number of growing industries ranging from construction to healthcare, manufacturing and IT.  Funding is available for free training and supportive services such as mileage reimbursement, books, and materials for eligible participants.  Training opportunities include on–the–job training, traditional classroom, pre–apprenticeship and more.
