Michigan pastor brings Night of Hope Tour to Alpena

ALPENA, Mich. — One Michigan pastor is on a mission to bring a message of hope to communities along the Northern Michigan shoreline.  Pastor Wes Morris and his ministry team will spend the next ten days traveling from the Silver Lake Sand Dunes to Alpena and then on to Bay City. Pastor Morris says the Night of Hope is a project of Ten9 Ministries and is designed to lift the emotional heaviness he believes many people are struggling with right now.

“It seems like the world is in a desperate time.  You can feel people discouraged.  You can feel people struggling, said Pastor Morris.  “But the gospel of Jesus Christ is good news, and we thought man, we would just love to go around our state and offer a message of hope and encouragement to as many people as possible,” he said.

The Night of Hope event will be held in Alpena on Wednesday, Aug. 26 at Bay View Park beginning at 7 p.m.  The event is free to attend.
