ALPENA, Mich. — Work will begin Wednesday, July 15 on Meyers Road in Alpena Township. The Alpena County Road Commission advises that the existing pavement will be resurfaced and drainage will be improved, including ditching and new culverts.

Property owners together with Alpena Township and the Road Commission are sharing the cost. The road projects will be closed to through traffic during construction.
