Medicare Part D Plan Deadline Approaching: Appointments at Alpena Senior Citizens Center

For this week’s senior living segment, we focus on the Medicare Part D Plan deadline. The deadline is approaching and approaching fast. The Medicare Part D Plan that is. The deadline for open enrollment is December 7 th.

MMAP counselor, Kitty Glomski said enrollment helps seniors make a decision on keeping or changing their plans. Glomski says seniors should always get their plans looked over.

So far over 500 seniors have participated in getting their plans revised. Last year Glomski and her staff helped over 700 seniors and were able to save 367,000 in prescription drug cost.

Glomski said she and her staff would be open for more appointments until December 7th.
