Major Prezza Morrison appointed to The Salvation Army in Alpena

ALPENA, Mich. —  The Salvation Army in Alpena is getting new leadership.  Major Prezza Morrison has been appointed to replace Major Kevin and Captain Amy Cederval who are being transferred to Kansas City, Missouri effective June 28.

Major Morrison has served The Salvation Army as an officer for more than 35 years.  She has a degree in Pastoral Ministries from Olivet Nazarene College.

Major Prēzza has served The Salvation Army at appointments in Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Minnesota, South Dakota, Kansas and Missouri including an appointment as an instructor at The Salvation Army College for Officer Training (Seminary). Most recently she has served in Livingston County, MI for 5 years and 8 months.

Major Prēzza also had the honor of serving The Salvation Army in many disaster service operations in the Midwest including New York after September 11, Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina and tropical storm Rita.

There will be a farewell gathering for the Cedervals on Sunday, June 28 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at The Salvation Army at 722 N. 2nd Ave.
