The Airport is asking the Alpena County Road Commission for help.
They\'re asking for 6/10 of an acre of wetland the county takes credit for.
Managing Director Larry Orcutt says he\'ll be putting in the hours to research the impact this will have on the county.
The wetland space is part of the road commission\'s \"Mitigation Bank\"... consisting of about 19 acres. Each time the road commission completes a project that affects a wetland, acres are deducted from the 19 acres.
The next road commission building will be December 15, 2009.
