Luxury Event Honors Ken’s March Against Hunger Fundraiser
To say thank you to the community the Alpena Senior Center hosted a luxury event for those who helped raise funds to continue the food programs for seniors.
Food, laughs, and some pampering, that’s what this occasion was all about. Giving a major shout out to the community for their support, the Senior Center hosted their annual luxury event.
The goal was to raise at least $30,000, so far the center has collected at least $20,000. This year the annual fundraiser was given a different name: Ken’s March Against Hunger in honor of Ken Fader.
Fader volunteered his time working for the center’s meals on wheels program. Fader lost his life earlier this year in a tragic car accident.
