ALPENA, Mich.— Board members of the Alpena Montmorency Alcona Educational Service District approved a contract this week to move forward with repairs at Pied Piper School. Superintendent Scott Reynolds approved a contract amount of almost $390,000 for renovation purposes.
A new roof, replacement of ceiling tiles and a public address system will be put in place. As well as more storage space and lighting fixtures throughout the building.
Phase two of building repairs will beginning this summer.
