Local restaurants welcome back customers for dine-in services
ALPENA, Mich. – Local restaurants around town were excited to see their seats filled Monday as indoor dining was reinstated.
Big Boy in Alpena was busy as regulars stopped by during the breakfast rush. The staff at the restaurant said it’s been a long time coming, but they are really excited to welcome back their guest.
“We are so excited; I got like no sleep last night because I’m ecstatic,” said big boy general manager Brittany Kieliszewski . “I’m excited to see customers we haven’t seen in months, and the staff getting back in the swing of things. We need that social interaction with our staff and our customers.”
Staff said if you are still unsure about dining in due to the pandemic, you’re welcome to call Big Boy and place an order over the phone and even do a contact-less pickup.
