Local residents enjoy a Sunday afternoon with loosened social distancing restrictions
ALPENA, Mich –Residents were out today in Alpena enjoying their Sunday and it helped that there was great weather to do so.
The scene today was different than the past few months as there was more foot traffic and signs for open business.
Families were sitting outside of Scoops enjoying blue skies and of course tasty ice cream.
The dogs were even playing harder than usual in their own park.
Boat rides were taking place along the river as well as strolls and fishing for some.
Three ladies came out to enjoy Bellinis at Thunder Bay Winery where they also celebrating their friend Joyce’s birthday.
