Local prosecutor’s office welcomes Megan Mckeon

ALPENA, Mich.— The Alpena County Prosecutor’s office adds a new addition to its force. Megan Mckeon is the new assistant prosecutor who is a recent Cooley Law School graduate.

Mckeon completed her bar exam back in February and was sworn into the Michigan Bar Association shortly after. The assistant prosecutor has an undergraduate degree in criminal justice and legal studies.

Mckeon also has experience in working with a public defender’s office and a district court probation department. In a press release from the prosecutor’s office Mckeon says, “She hopes her passion and desire to help others will benefit the office and the team.”
