Local healthcare facility will soon reopen
ALPENA, Mich.— MidMichigan Health Centers will soon start reopening some of its face to face services as early as today. This comes after patient traffic within the hospital was reduced and virtual care options were provided to slow the spread of COVID–19.
The healthcare facility is also resuming time sensitive surgeries for patients and some MidMichigan employees here in Alpena are returning back to work. The number of visitors in the health centers are still limited and health screenings are required for individuals entering the building.
Tentative cleaning procedures are in place and social distancing will still be implemented. Virtual appointments through the MidMichigan portal are available to patients
