ALPENA, MI. – Michigan communities are stepping up in support to the victims of the Gaylord tornado.

Some lost power while others lost loved ones. Communities surrounding Gaylord have come together to provide for the tornado victims.
The most updated list of needs for Gaylord includes gift cards for gas and groceries.
Real Estate One of Alpena is collecting at all four of their locations. Otsego county of United Way is also accepting donations.

Otsego County of United Way Executive Director, Erin Mann, says  the aid from the community has made it all possible. “We have accepted many donations. We have been inviting tornado victims to collect any basic things they need. What were also asking people to donate gift cards so that people can get the items that make them feel good.”
