Lincoln man named Good Samaritan by Lincoln Fire Dept.
LINCOLN, Mich. – The Lincoln Fire Department recently recognized a local hero.
In September, Mr. Daniel Hale of Lincoln made a heroic decision to help save a neighbor and friend from a house fire.
The fire department said Hale was able to rescue the neighbor from the burning home, but he didn’t survive his injuries.
The fire department named hale a good Samaritan for the heroic act.
“This heroic act on September 18th, 2021 demonstrates outstanding character and selflessness,” said a Lincoln Fire Department representative. “Daniel’s actions with William Ullman were courageous and honorable.”
People at the award ceremony said it was a great turnout with support from the community.
