Less cloud Wednesday; Warmer for the rest of the week

High temperatures in Lower Michigan were mostly in the lower 40s. Highs reached 40 degrees in Alpena, 41 degrees in Saginaw and 42 degrees in Grand rapids. Notice Minneapolis got up to 54 degrees — a sign of some warmer air on the way in.

Tuesday was yet another cloudy day across northern Michigan, and all of that cloud cover extends to western Wisconsin. Skies will remain cloudy tonight and early tomorrow, then clouds will begin to decrease around midday.

Low temperatures overnight will be near 34 degrees. Wednesday will start cloudy and morning temperatures will be in the middle 30s. Afternoon highs will reach about 49 degrees with partly cloudy skies. The evening hours will be clear and temperatures will be in the upper 30s.

The next three days will be opportune for spending some time outdoors, Wednesday will be partly cloudy. Completely sunny skies and warmer temperatures are in store Thursday. Friday will be partly cloudy and mild. Saturday is expected to start with dry weather, then rain showers beginning around midday.

Wednesday’s highs will reach the upper 40s and morning clouds will decrease, becoming clear by the evening. Thursday will be sunny, early morning temperatures will start near 29 degrees, and afternoon highs will warm to about 53 degrees. Friday, high temperatures will be near 50 degrees with partly cloudy skies. The next chance of rain will move in Saturday midday.
