Learn to play the lifelong sport with USTA Professional Charlie Drury at the Aplex this winter.
ALPENA — The APLEX is offering three free lessons for youths (grades 1-12) and two free lessons for adults this winter. The lessons are taught by USTA Professional Charlie Drury.
Drury has been the APLEX tennis professional for three years. He played the sport at the collegiate level, and has also coached at Lake Superior State and Western Michigan Universities.
Kaleb Werth, one of Drury’s young students, used to just hit the ball around with his parents. He’s developed quickly with Drury’s coaching, who he says makes the sport even more enjoyable.
