ALPENA, Mich. — The League of Women voters is inviting residents to celebrate their love for the cause this Valentine’s Day.
On Friday, the organization will host an open house at the Alpena County Library to celebrate the 100th year of the League. Topics to be discussed include the census, voting rights, and redistricting. Voter applications and registrations will also be available, along with post cards to send to state and national legislators.
The league is non–partisan and supports, nor opposes candidates. Again, the meeting is this Friday, February 14 at the library from 1 until 3 p.m.
