Justin Gluesing Selected as AMA ESD Superintendent

The Alpena-Montmorency-Alcona Educational Service District has selected a new superintendent.

Justin Gluesing will take over the position starting July 1. He comes from the Crawford–Ausable school district where he’s been superintendent since 2019. Before that, he was with Alpena Schools for 15 years. The decision was made on Tuesday after the AMA ESD board of education voted unanimously 7-0 in favor of offering Gluesing the position.

AMA ESD Board President Lee Fitzpatrick said the board feels Gluesing will be an “outstanding educational leader for the region”.
