Hurons hold of Eagles

ROGERS CITY, MI — The Rogers City Hurons hosted the Hale Eagles in a North Star League showdown. Taylor Fleming was a strong force for the Hurons. She scored 18 points in the first half. Olivia Rasch led the attack for the Eagles. Hale did a good job defending Fleming in the second half, but the damage had already been done.
The Hurons won 43-29 and are (2-1) for the season. Up next, Rogers City travels to Whittemore-Prescott on Friday.
