Daily highs notably above the freezing mark will continue this week. High temperatures today reached the middle 40s for most of Northeast Michigan. Temperatures tomorrow will be slightly cooler, then returning to the 40s Wednesday and Thursday.

The next storm system that will affect our area is currently soaking parts of the southwestern states. This storm will move north, to the Upper Plains, then head into the Upper Great Lakes region. For Northeast Michigan, rain showers are expected on Thursday.


Overnight low temperatures will cool to the upper 20s. Temperatures Tuesday morning will be near 30 degrees with cloudy skies. High temperatures will reach about 37 degrees and cloudy skies will last all day. Winds will come from the southeast, about 10 mph in the afternoon.

High temperatures will get into the upper 30s on Tuesday. Temperatures will become a little warmer Wednesday and Thursday. Christmas Day will be cloudy with a high near 40 degrees. Highs will reach the lower 40s Thursday with scattered rain showers.
