History Channel’s ‘American Pickers’ Looking for Large Collections in Michigan

Mike Wolfe and Fred Fitz of the television show American Pickers will be coming to Michigan in September.

A popular television show on the History Channel is coming to Michigan this fall and they’re looking for large collections with a story behind them.

The show American Pickers looks at unique collections all over the nation. Hosts Mike Wolfe and Frank Fitz explore these collections and uncover the stories about the collections throughout the United States.

“A big collection of anything is generally pretty interesting,” said Casting Associate Emily Chafetz. “How they got into it, where they got it, and how long they’ve been doing it for.”

They guys will be coming to Michigan in September, a place they’ve had prior experience. The show is looking for leads all over Michigan, specifically in the region of northern Michigan. The goal is to find collections and unique characters that Wolfe and Fitz can interact with to create a good episode.

“In general, the guys are really interested in Michigan just because people are passionate about their things in the Midwest and we’ve found really good things in the past.”

No stores, malls, flea markets, museums, auctions, businesses or anything open to public will be considered.

If you have a unique collection or know someone who has a collection, contact American Pickers by calling 1-855-653-7878 or email AmericanPickers@cineflix.com
