Hinks Elementary takes virtual field trip
ALPENA, Mich. — Hinks Elementary School went on a field trip today, except this one was different.
Like many other events happening in the world Thursday, this trip was taken virtually. With the help of AJ’s farm, Mrs. Oliver took her students on a hayride, picked pumpkins, and had cider and donuts. They were able to do all of this while staying on school grounds.
These photos were sent to us from Hinks Elementary principal Jean Kowalski who said she’s so appreciative of Mrs. Oliver for thinking outside the box for her students.
