Hillman Junior High closes after positive COVID-19 case related to staff member
HILLMAN, Mich. — Hillman Junior High has decided to close after a staff member tested positive for COVID-19.
Superintendent Carl Seiter said they were informed late last night of a positive case related to a junior high staff member. Sixth through eighth grade classes will be moved to virtual learning until Nov. 16. There will be no activities, athletic practices, or games for these students.
The high school and elementary school will continue face-to-face instruction as well as all activities and sports, however, no junior high students are allowed to attend.
Parents are asked to monitor their kids for symptoms.
