Oscoda Township, Mich. — Students at Oscoda High School got a chance to look into future opportunities on Thursday.

The high school held a career fair for students to start planning for the future. Over 60 different companies, colleges, and other organizations from all over Michigan packed into the high school gym.

“It’s important to do that because they need to start planning early about life after high school, and it makes the connection to make school more relevant, so the more that they know about opportunities, and understand why it’s important to do well in the classroom, that helps them to get here and do well,” said Counselor Amy Martin.

Students could ask questions and get one–on–one time in hopes of finding a great first step towards the future.
