Group brews auction gift that keeps on giving
Alpena- Steve Jakubcin, Eric Granata, Brad Przeslawski, and Rich Houchin bid on one of the most unique auction items you can win.
They were able to go on a trip down to Mountain Town Brewery in Mt. Pleasant to brew their own beer. They won the gift at the United Way auction back in September and now, they are able to taste the fruits of their labor. The group call the beer “Thunder Bay Fog,” a New England Style IPA. The beer debuts tonight at the Fresh Palate and $1 of each pint purchased will be donated to the United Way of Northeast Michigan. That money will help the organization reach their goal of $215,000.
The beer will be available until it runs out. For Jakubcin, it’s a gift that keeps on giving.
