Grant, Cardinals win their third-straight regional title
ONAWAY, Mich. — For the third year in a row, the Onaway Cardinals wrestling team are heading to states. In order to advance to states, a team has to win two regional matches to reserve a spot. That’s exactly what the Cardinals did as they defeated Bark-River Harris in the regional semifinals and Westwood in the regional finals.
On Feb. 28, the Cardinals will take on Hart at Kalamazoo in a state quarterfinals match. First match is scheduled for 12 p.m. The winner of that match will advance to the state semifinals to face the winner of New Lothrop vs. Carson City-Crystal.
