Grandma Shultz retires from Lincoln Elementary at 98 years old

At 98 years old Grandma Shultz is taking a break from spending time with the students at Lincoln Elementary.

Grandma has dedicated her entire life to educating children. Over the past 23 years she has touched the lives of many young students, teachers and staff and today was all about showing grandma how much she is loved and appreciated.

“She is finally retiring and leaving our kindgetaren. Shes been a staple here at Lincoln school, a steady influence on hundreds and hundreds of lives. We are going to miss her but she’s not going away, we didn’t say goodbye a the end of the assembly we said.. ‘see you later alligator’ “.

Students sang grandma her favorite song, presented her with gifts and talked about the special memories they were able to share.

“You are the best person at this school and you are the best grandma ever and you were like a best friend to me, and thank you for all that you have done”.

Grandma Shultz has left her mark on Lincoln Elementary, with her sweet smile and amazing personality she will be hard to forget.

But remember its not goodbye, it’s see you later..
