Governor Whitmer and Santa Claus chat with kids
LANSING, Mich. — In a virtual meeting with kids across Michigan, Governor Whitmer welcomed a visitor from the North Pole.
Santa Claus joined the governor in speaking to Michigan youth, as he assured children that he and his elves had been wearing masks and social distancing this holiday season.
Children were able to ask questions to Santa, and they did not disappoint. Santa was asked if kids should leave hand sanitizer out with their cookies, and if he had any advice on staying safe during Christmas.
As of now, Santa and his elves have all tested negative and are prepared to make their trip around the world on Christmas’ Eve.
