ALPENA, Mich. — A Glennie woman has been charged with stealing money from a vulnerable adult family member.
Seventy-one–year–old Dianna Whitford was interviewed by police on January 16, after an embezzlement complaint was made to Michigan State Police in December of 2019. She was arrested for one count of embezzlement of jointly held property and one count of embezzlement from a vulnerable adult.
Whitford was arraigned in the 81st district court in Alcona and released on $15,000 bond. She is scheduled to appear in court again on February 19.
